Heavenly God Our Father, as we follow your Son Jesus on His heart wrenching road to Calvary, may we feel His Love for each one of us on this Way of the Cross, of He who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Let us also walk with His Holy Mother, to comfort her in the Passion of her Beloved Son. Amen.

O Jesus, why are You here before Pilate? Because one of your friends betrayed You? Because one of Your friends denied You? No, because of Your love for us sinners. That’s why You are here. Have mercy on me Lord, have mercy. We adore you O Christ and we bless You, because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.

O victorious Jesus, all seems lost. Your lifeless Body is placed in a new tomb. But this had to be. In three days You will bring Your broken Body back to life, as You said You would, in Your Glorious Resurrection. Death destroyed. Satan defeated. The Gates of Heaven are opened forever. Call me too, to rise in Glory on my last day of this earthly way. Have mercy on me Lord, have mercy. We adore you O Christ and we bless You, because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
